Actor John Barrowman is coming to Ghent!

Arrow, Torchwood & Doctor Who actor visits FACTS Fall 2018 in September

Scottish movie, TV and theatre actor John Barrowman is best known as Captain Jack Harkness in the series Dr. Who and its spin-off Torchwood, and as Malcolm Merlyn / Dark Archer in Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. The man is also a hero for the LGBT community, with his unwavering battle against homophobia.

His role as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and Torchwood was a complete bull's-eye. He is a true hero in the sci-fi ranks because of his utterly charming and witty acting power in this universe. He maintained this role from 2005 until 2011.

His role as ‘bad guy’ Malcolm Merlyn, aka Dark Archer, in the popular DC Universe series Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow proves that John Barrowman is an extremely versatile actor. Not only is he capable of portraying a lovable hero figure, but also a convincingly menacing villain. He was sorely missed after the character’s apparent death in the series not too long ago.

Furthermore, John Barrowman is known for his lead role in the critically acclaimed series Titans and his roles in quite a few well-known movies, such as Zero Dark Thirty and Shark Attack 3: Megalodon. Even in the theatre world, John Barrowman is a respected name.

John Barrowman is often seen in the most outrageous outfits with the goal to eradicate homophobia and to raise awareness for gay rights, effectively making him an LGBT hero.

Actor John Barrowman will be present at FACTS Fall 2018, on September 29-30, in Flanders Expo Ghent. He will be available for photoshoots, autographs and panels on both days.

He will be accompanied by his Doctor Who colleague David Tennant (Doctor Who / Jessica Jones), actor Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter / The Flash), actress Jennifer Morrison (House M.D. / Once Upon a Time), Charles Martinet (the voice of Super Mario) and Carolina Ravassa (Sombra in Overwatch).
