Gillian Anderson (Scully in The X-Files) is coming to FACTS Spring 2018!

The truth is out there…But Gillian Anderson is right here at FACTS Spring 2018!

This grande dame of the sci-fi scene is best known as Dana Scully in The X-Files, the iconic FBI Agent protecting Earth from dangerous and unexplained paranormal phenomena since 1993.

The importance of the Scully character and The X-Files as a whole cannot be understated. The Scully Effect is a thing: nearly two-thirds (63%) of American women who work in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) today say that Dana Scully served as a role model. In other words: as one of the first outspoken powerful women on camera, with determined and highly regarded skills, she inspired a whole generation.

Fun fact: The X-Files and FACTS are both turning 25 this year, so this will be an extra special occasion!

Gillian Anderson can also be admired in the movies The Last King of Scotland and Johnny English Reborn. Her TV work is still formidable as well, with important roles in Hannibal, The Fall and American Gods, among many others.

In 2018, you will be able to see her shine in the action-comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me.

Gillian Anderson will be present for FACTS Spring 2018, on April 7-8, in Flanders Expo Ghent. This amazing actress will be available for photoshoots, signing sessions and panels on both days.
